Our most popular 8-legend placard can be ordered in a “split” format. This is ideal for roll-up doors. One half of each placard is installed on the top door section; the other half is installed on the bottom section.
- The split placard set includes eight different legends that all meet or exceed DOT specifications.
- Placards are made from a rust-free, heavy 0.032” thick aluminum back plate. Each legend sheet is similarly durable – they are 0.032” thick (compare to the thinner, 0.023” thick legends from the competitors). Each placard legend has rounded corners for easy flipping and nick-free, safe handling. No other placard system flips more smoothly.
- Stainless steel clips have been proven over years and years. These stainless steel spring clips lock the placards into place. Your legends stay put and withstand the toughest conditions that truckers face: wind, speed, storms and constant opening and shutting.
- Flip-n-Lock placards are made from painted aluminum. The white, baked-on finish on the placard stays intact even in harsh weather and stands up to fading and abuse. Ideal for white trailers.
